Dos and Don’ts All New Moms Should Know
I have already given up the title as “new mother” for a long time, as my babies have grown up. As I look back to those days when they were still infants, I can’t help bursting into laughter. Those days are horrible and funny as well. As a new mother, I felt unspeakable happy, but I did mess things up seriously like most of you have done. There are things that I wished I would have known earlier, so I want to pass on the experience to you who are a new mom or going to be a new mom.
Do: Try every way that is possible to relax yourself. Being a new mom is pretty stressful, so you will go mad if you don’t take a break in time. If a babysitter is affordable to your family, it’s worth spending money and go to have a dinner or manicure with your BBFs.
Don’t: Stick to breastfeeding. As we all know, breast milk is the perfect food infants, but infant formulas got the better at matching the nutrients that your baby needs. So, there is no point for you to feel guilty about feeding your baby the formulas.
Do: Get all baby proofing products ready, for example, baby table corner protectors. These products should be well prepared in advance.
Don’t: Be mad at your innocent infant. I know that your baby love to make a mess such as staining his baby boy shirts, but you should know he never meant to do that.
Do: Take as many photos as you can. Baby is growing fast, and you could see that they are changing day by day. It’s meaningful to not only parents but also your baby, since he will be amazed while he looks at these photos.
Don’t: Get so addicted to any kind of electric device, for example, your cellphone, or laptop. Infants will be attracted by those dazzled screen, and you should know that babies are not supposed to watch those glowing screens too much.
