When your babies are about one year old, they would try to recognize the world in their own ways, for example, crawling, touching or even pushing. After a couple of months, your baby might be able to point you out or look at you, when you call out his name. It also means that he has the basic sense of direction, although the sense is not developed completely. As he grows up, he gradually could use those words about direction, for example, backward, forward, outside and inside. In this phrase, his sense of direction is rapidly developed. When he is 3 years old, his sense of direction and space has been developed completely, and he is able to tell you that the bird is flying in the sky or the fish is swim in the river.
